Halfway to 100I don't want to be one of those people who jumps up every month like "WE'VE BEEN DATING FOR 13/26/39 MONTHS!", but...
Jenn and I have been together for 50 months as of today. I think that's a number worthy of mentioning.

So, Jenn and I will be joining Laura in her Ten Mile "Big Walk" for the Alzheimer's charity ARUK.
Alzheimer's
Named after Dr Alois Alzheimer, who observed the disease in 1901, Alzheimer's disease affects about 500,000 people in the UK, and an estimated 35 million worldwide.
Typical symptoms of early Alzheimer's include:
- Regularly forgetting recent events, names and faces.
- Regularly misplacing items or putting them in odd places.
- Confusion about the time of day.
- Disorientation, especially away from your normal surroundings.
- Getting lost.
- Problems finding the right words.
- Reduced judgement, for example, being unaware of danger.
- Mood or behaviour problems such as apathy, irritability, or losing confidence.
Many older people suffer from this disease, one of them being Laura's grandfather, who she is very close to. It

Taking a wee breakHaven't had much to do or say lately, and I've been a busy bee, so checking dA has been sporadic at best.
So I figured I'd drop this note here to say that I'm taking a hiatus from my daily checking of deviantART for a bit. I'll still come by to check my messages, and perhaps upload a photo or two (when I receive them!), but for the most part, I'll be pretty quiet.

Long time; no talk. How are you all doing?
Since this year is the year of the apocalypse you can expect more Left 4 Dead 2 videos. I'm definitely thinking about making some Keith and Ellis derp videos. The current winning idea is 'How to with Keith.'

I'm ALMOST done with a second Blame it on the Cosplay video; THE REVENGE. Seriously, this is so so so so much better than the first one. I really can't wait. The only reason I haven't uploaded it yet is because the contacts for Lestat haven't arrived yet. Once his part is filmed then it shall be up for your pleasure!
You can definitely expect more Marauders. These guys will have plenty more episodes and silly shorts to come.

Weekend Past and Future

Ramblings...

I managed to make almost an entire costume for Laura in two days in the weekend just gone. I'm pretty pleased with myself, considering it's not exactly a simple costume, either
Still plenty more to do on other costumes, though. *dies*

This coming weekend, however, should be a good'un. On Saturday morning, Jenn and I will be visiting the offices of the SpecialEffect charity, to see first-hand the work that they do! We'll have the video camera with us, and will be filming so you can all see where out fundraising is going! With luck, this'll help everyone understand what SpecialEffect do, and encourage you to donate!
