Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Ramblings...

First and foremost, if you are a Demyx Time/Parlé fan and haven't already seen these...

Jenn and I spent a fair bit of time last night reading through these pages and laughing out loud, probably confusing our neighbours more than a little XD So yeah, go have a gander!!

-------CAST NEEDED FOR ALCON MUSIC VIDEO------

We need extras for a video we're making at Alcon!!

We are going to be making a Left 4 Dead music video, and need ZOMBIES for it! Common infected are needed, though Uncommon Infected are also more than welcome! We ask that people don't cosplay Witches and Hunters, otherwise we'll be overrun with Special Infected, with no hoard! If anyone wanted to do other Special Infected (such as smokers, spitters etc) then we'd love to see those, too!

Mainly, we just need Common/Uncommon Infected most.

You'll also be learning a very simple dance routine (dancing zombies 8D ) which will be taught to you on the day, and we'll credit everyone who takes part.

We'll be filming on the Friday of Alcon 2011, so if you're able to join us, please comment saying you can, and what you'd like to cosplay. The more people we can get in on this, the better the video will be.

I'd love to just go to this con... but I dunno if I'll have the moneys in time... and I don't know when it is.. cause even if I did.. I couldn't afford a hotel room AND the train down.... *Sad face*

If I do manage to somehow gather the money I need to go.. I can do my own make up and stuff like that.. and I can mass produce edible blood.. though anyone who's diabetic cannot have it... it's too sugary...

I would love to go to Alcon and dress as a Smoker(my second favorite infected) but blagh, I'm too young and my dad would never take me to UK. Darn it being a poor american teen. >.< Btw, just the fact that you like l4d is so freaking awesome! The school I go to, only one other person played or ever heard of it and he moved away earlier this year. ;_; But either way, I hope you have a wonderful time at Alcon! I'm hoping you guys can have enough fun there for all your fans who couldn't go!
