Ok, I get a lot of questions that are asked over and over again to me on dA, so I figured I'd finally do a big journal to answer them all (as no one seems to look at my FAQ journal XD

I'll copy/paste my FAQ journal over into this (with a few more new Q's added), and if you have any other questions you want to ask, now is the time to do so! I'll update the journal with all the new questions as we go.

Regarding Axel</u>

Q. Where did you get your Organization coat?
A. Ebay!

Q. Where did you get your Axel wig?
A. I bought the unstyled wig off ebay, then cut and styled it myself. It is made from two wigs sewn together.

Q. Where did you get your chakrams?
A. I made them entirely from scratch.

Q. How did you make your chakrams?
A. I never have, and never will, give an EXACT walkthrough on how my props are made, unless they're minor ones. I just don't want everyone having identical props to me, when I made mine with all my own ideas, entirely from scratch.
I will, however, give you some tips and hints. The materials I used were styrofoam, toothpicks, polyfiller, papier mache, electrical tape and enamel paint. I made the chakrams to scale for my body based on models and reference pictures.

Q. On Demyx Time, is that your real voice/are you English?
A. Yes, I use my true voice for Axel. And yes, I am English, from the South East of England.

Q. Where did you get your boots?!
A. Camden Lock, in London. I wish I didn't HAVE to wear platforms for Axel, but there's little I can do about my lack of height (lifts just don't cut it for shorties like me XD )

Q. Where did you get your AXEL shirt?
A. My shirt was made my tealpirate.

Q. How did you make your Axel wig?
A. Again, I don't give walkthroughs. The tips I will give you are to use cheap hairspray to make the spikes, and PVA glue for the tips. Start from the front and work your way back. Dry the spikes with a hairdryer on COOL setting. Take your time!

Q. What is your most memorable Demyx Time moment?
A. For me, it was being Vexen for the first time. Jenn and I couldn't stop laughing!


Regarding Sora</u>

Q. Where did you get your costume?
A. Ebay. I do Sora purely for the character. I never felt compelled to take on his cosplay as a creative challenge.

Q. Where did you get your Sora wig?
A. I styled it myself from a wig that Tealpirate no longer needed.

Q. Where did you get your keyblade?
A. It belongs to Tealpirate. It is store-bought.

Q. In The Sora Show, is that your real voice?
A. No! Several people have asked, after TSS was released, if I was American. In fact, Sora's voice is entirely put on. However, it's a great compliment that I managed to fool some people!

Q. Why do you make Sora an idiot?
A. Because that is the crack version of him that I enjoy acting. I want to make him different from other peoples acted versions of Sora. It also makes for more dynamic character interaction, as Riku is such a polar opposite.


Regarding General Costumes</u>

Q. Do you make your cosplays yourself?
A. I mix between buying cosplays and making my own.

Q. What do you use for sewing?
A. Tricky stuff is done by hand. General work is done on my 14 stitch machine.

Q. Where can I buy 'so and so' cosplay.
A. Most full cosplays and accessories can be found on ebay, or can be commissioned by other cosplayers.

Q. Ebay or Do It Yourself?
A. I have never had any problem with people who ebay or commission costumes, as I do it myself! Personally, I don't see what the big deal is, or why people make such a fuss. Some people enjoy making costumes, and some people just enjoy wearing them! It seems to be quite an elitist thing, to put another person down for not making their cosplay. At the end of the day, it's not hurting anyone, and who cares so long as you are having fun? I tend to try and make what I can by myself, but several of my costumes are from eBay.

Q. Which costumes did you make, and which did you buy?
A. Generally, if you look on my pictures, I describe what I did/didn't make.

Q. Who is your favourite cosplay?
A. Probably Dark Link.

Q. What was your first cosplay?
A. Pein from Naruto. It was bad XD


Regarding General Wigs</u>

Q. What do you use to spike your wigs?
A. Hair spray, freeze spray, and PVA glue.

Q. Where do you get your wigs?
A. Wherever I can find them! Mainly ebay.

Q. How do you style your wigs?
A. That'd be telling! Each wig is different and takes a different method.

Q. Do you take commissions?
A. Sorry, but no. I really don't have the time!

Q. Can I add you on MSN?
A. Probably not. I try to keep MSN for people I know in person. If I want to add you, I will ask!

Q. Can I have your address so I can send you something?
A. No.

Q. Are you and Tealpirate together?
A. Yes, we have been in a relationship with eachother for some time now.


Q. I love you!
A. You don't know me.... At least, not well enough to love me.

Q. Can you come to Otakon/Animecon/Whatevercon in [insert town here]?
A. Do you know how much it costs to travel overseas?! XD Sorry, but there is just no way we can make regular trips abroad to attend conventions. It's very expensive for flights, and then the added costs of car hire, hotels etc. We attend overseas cons where we are able to.

Q. Are you going to MCM Expo?
A. I don't attend MCM events much anymore for various reasons. I may attend one or two, however. Check the footers on my latest journals for a list of events I am attending.

Q. Can we be friends?
A. Please... please do not ask me this question! It's the most awkward question I receive! I don't believe in ASKING to become friends with someone. Friendship is something that happens naturally and over time, and can't be just decided. I'm afraid there just aren't enough hours in the day to speak to everyone who wants to be friends with me, and I'm sorry for that. I will do my best to respond to comments left on my dA though!
