Thank you, Mr PresidentSome people complain about Obama because he hasn't fixed the economy.
Some people complain about him because he hasn't kept every single one of his election pledges.
People dislike the man for a variety of reasons.
I think he's amazing.
Why?
Because he is pro-Equal Rights.
This journal is for nothing more than to say how happy I am that, finally, a president of the United States has boldly stepped forward and declared his support for same-sex marriages. He could have easily avoided this issue until after the election race was over, but he made the decision to be up-front and honest in advance. I respect that in a politician so very, very much.
So thank you, Obama. I sincerely hope people listen to you, and learn what it truly means to treat your fellow man as "equal".

Four Years AgoFour years ago, something happened that completely changed the course of my life in a very real, very noticeable way.
On the 19th of January 2008, I hadn't really intended to do anything to make my life change so drastically. There was no plan, no preconception, nothing. Things just happened the way they happened, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
On the night of the 19th of January 2008, `tealpirate and I started going out.
From that day on, my life was changed. I'd gone from a previously unhappy relationship to one I now was full of hope, excitement and expectation. My previous relationship had me feeling worn out, disillusioned and unhappy by three years or so into the relationship, yet with Jenn, I'm four years in, and still as crazily in love as the day I met her.
So, here's to you, Jenn, and the four fabulous years of life you have already gifted me with. I hope to continue them for as long as I live, and can only hope to bring you the same measure of happiness that you

Ramblings...

This is the last post I'll be making before the Nine Mile Big Walk that myself, Laura and Jenn are doing for Alzheimer's Research UK.

We're walking in support of Laura's grandfather, who has Alzheimer's Disease. It's developed to a point where seeing him upsets Laura every time, seeing how much he has changed as a person. It's not something we'd wish upon any of our friends or families, any stranger, and it's certainly not something any of us want to contract in old age.

I really appriciate you doing the walk-a-thon, My grandmother has it and it really upsets me when I see her. ): And now I really wish I could donate But I have absoloutly nothing!! D: I can't believe I wasnt on yesterday to actually do a walk a thon but I was doing charity work.
