Thank you, Mr PresidentSome people complain about Obama because he hasn't fixed the economy.
Some people complain about him because he hasn't kept every single one of his election pledges.
People dislike the man for a variety of reasons.
I think he's amazing.
Why?
Because he is pro-Equal Rights.
This journal is for nothing more than to say how happy I am that, finally, a president of the United States has boldly stepped forward and declared his support for same-sex marriages. He could have easily avoided this issue until after the election race was over, but he made the decision to be up-front and honest in advance. I respect that in a politician so very, very much.
So thank you, Obama. I sincerely hope people listen to you, and learn what it truly means to treat your fellow man as "equal".

If you haven't watched it yet, PLEASE do. Please take the time to really watch it, and try and empathise with these young people. Imagine if it were you, a sibling, a friend.... This man must be stopped.
Now, there have been criticisms not of the need to stop Kony, but of the Invisible Children organisation who have led this campaign. These criticisms primarily regard the organisations finances and military support. You can read these concerns here:

A few people messaged me regarding this. Tonight, I finally got around to watching the video, and I felt I had a moral obligation to spread the word myself.

Until now, I'd never heard of this man. For over 20 years, he has been snatching African children from their homes, turning the boys into soldiers and the girls into sex slaves. He forces them to kill their own parents, and turns them into his own personal army.
To this day, he hasn't been captured. Most of the world don't even know his name. Until tonight, I was one of them.
Please spend 30 minutes of your time to watch this, and spread the word. If we could only remove a single evil individual from the world in our lifetime, this guy would likely be top of my list.

On The Subject of LabelsOne of the recurring comments given in my previous journal was "Why do we need to label ourselves at all?", or words to that effect. There are many of you who believe NO-ONE needs a label.
I both agree and disagree.
I agree, because I think you're right that we don't need to define to ourselves what we are by putting a label on it. I shouldn't say to myself "I'm gay. Therefore, I only am attracted to women." I think that if, in your head, you have a defined, labelled view of what you are, you start conforming yourself around that label. I'm sure many of you have heard stories of men and women who came out, then later admitted to feeling pressured into staying gay because they'd defined themselves as such to so many people. Conforming yourself around a social definition like that cannot be healthy.

Long time; no talk. How are you all doing?
Since this year is the year of the apocalypse you can expect more Left 4 Dead 2 videos. I'm definitely thinking about making some Keith and Ellis derp videos. The current winning idea is 'How to with Keith.'

I'm ALMOST done with a second Blame it on the Cosplay video; THE REVENGE. Seriously, this is so so so so much better than the first one. I really can't wait. Sexuality Polls?WARNING FOR THE RAMBLINGS OF A TIRED, ILL PERSON!
So, you may wonder why I made the polls about sexuality.
From the age of 12 to 16, I was straight. I was always straight, and always going to be straight. I only dated guys, and that was the way it was stuck in my head.
Then at 16, things started changing. I was in a relationship, but I also found myself attracted to girls. In appearance, especially, I found females more appealing than males.
At around 18 or 19, my attraction to men started fading entirely, replaced purely by an interest in women.
At 20, I ended my straight relationship to be with Jenn. By this point, I only found women attractive.
Now I'm 24, and once again, I'm on the fence. I find both men and women attractive visually, but I'm not SEXUALLY attracted to any of them. The only person I honestly find sexually attractive is Jenn. She's female, so I suppose that labels me as a lesbian, as I am quite literally only attracted to females.

The Power of MagicIt's past 3am, and I can't sleep.

When I was a kid, one of the greatest things possible to witness was magic. To me, my dad was a magician, no doubt about it. He could make coins appear from pockets and behind ears. He could guess what card you or your friend chose. He could blow cigarette smoke from his ears.
Actually, that last one was due to having punctured ear drums, so wasn't really magic... but you get what I mean.
Of course, now that I'm older, I know all these tricks myself. They're the easiest ones in the book. I've learned them myself, and occasionally blow the minds of kids who are now at the age I once was when I was being amazed by this apparent 'magic'.
That experience, of seeing something you believe to be utterly impossible become possible, is amazing. It's the reason I love illusionists and magicians, and the reason I've spent most of this insomniatic evening watching videos of Dynamo the magician.

Generosity and AppreciationSo for once I'm gonna talk about a somewhat serious topic... not really serious, but important at least.
Some people are so generous. And others are so unappreciative. What makes me say this? Well there are a couple of things. Since I'm better and more to the point with lists, here we go:

So I'm (was) watching this Korean variety show, Family Outing 2 (for the TaecYoon xD), right? There was this one episode that really got me inspired to write this journal. Actually more than one. In one the "family" performs for a (thousand?) bunch of soldiers. then at the end, they reunited one of the soldiers and his pregnant wife/girlfriend. They helped a village win some competition against this other village. And helped a (wrestling school? I think?) promote itself and something to do with these four girls...

British Humour

Ramblings...

Today, I wrote out a post of about 1,000 words or so about why people get offended by British humour, but shouldn't. I then deleted it. Why?

Because I realised that in talking about the nature of British humour, and why we're able to happily joke about things like celebrity deaths, racism, sexism, tragedies like 9/11, wars etc. ... I'd end up having people getting upset because I've offended them.

I've saved myself the hassle of this by deleting the post.

All I will say is that, if you can't handle Shock Humour, then you should always be wary of watching any form of British comedy. It's part of our comedic culture.

Otherwise, just accept that you might be offended, and when you are....stop reading, close the video, or change the channel. It's that easy.

I love British everything... I love it so much... I wish I WAS British... I love the way you speak and your humor is AMAZING. Some people just take things way too far and/or way too personally.

I honestly think I'm too thick to understand some British humor but not much along the lines of comedy offends me. If I don't get it, it probably won't offend me. This does not go for those American comedians who think emulating drugs is a great way to make people laugh.

Exactly. Black Adder, for example, bases nearly all of its jokes and humour on the war and the attutides of the Generals etc. Perhaps thats why us Britans like it so much. There's always been a difference in humour, particularly between America and England. Most of the humour is easy to relate to no matter where you're from, but obviously Shock Humour is an exception to that theory. For some people anyway.
