-------Cosplay Freeze Flash Mob-------

DATE: 24th August
_{(for those who wonder, this is also the same day as suisurujin and DNKyriaki's picnic. I've confirmed with Dan, and he's fine with it)}
TIME: 3pm
LOCATION: Trafalgar Square, NOT on the Square, but on the flat area outside of the Gallery.

THE PLAN
Try to arrive at Trafalgar Square by at least 2.55pm, so you're def there on time. SPREAD OUT! It's more fun when you're spaced. As the Square authorities have been known to get pissy when too many of us assemble there, stay off the Square itself.

When you hear the whistle at 3pm, FREEZE! That means freeze, whatever you may be doing. Whether you got into a pose just in time, were just about to stratch your bum, or are checking your phone, FREEZE! Hold it for five minutes until you hear the whistle or airhorn again. Then, walk away ^_^

Simple, yet hillarious!

I will need a few cameramen/women and someone to video this event. Any volunteers?

Please reply to this journal if you can make it so I can get an idea of numbers. COSPLAY IS ENCOURAGED, BUT ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. If you wanna join in but don't wanna cosplay, feel free!!

-------Amecon-------
Tomorrow, the Amecon adventure begins!
Tonight, I pick up *One-Sky-One-Destiny from the station so she can stay the night at mine. We have to finish off her new cosplay at mine, which shouldn't take too long at all. After *tealpirate finishes work, she'll also be coming over, and we'll all get an early night. Thursday morning, *tealpirate is off to work, and will meet us at Leicester later. Meanwhile, Laura and I get ready to take all our stuff to Amecon.

The plan for cosplays is as follows:
Friday daytime: Final Fantasy cosplays
Saturday daytime: Kingdom Hearts cosplays
Sunday daytime: Legend of Zelda cosplays

I say 'daytime' for each of these, so that we have afternoons and evenings free to swap, if we get bored. Laura and I are also planning to take our Guitar Hero cosplays up to wear on Thursday, so we can roam the campus looking for good spots for photos.

-------General Stuff-------
I'm sure some of you will remember me mentioning in some of my recent journals that I've been working towards a healthier diet and lifestyle.

Well, today I wandered past the scales at work and thought "....Well, might as well see what it says"

Now, because I'm curently fully clothed, and was wearing my shoes, I was expecting it to easily read over 60kg. For AGES I've been on or over 60kg, and this time I've been determined to get it under that amount. I decided that if I hit 60kg while still clothed, then I had reason to be happy.

According to my work scales, even while clothed, my current weight stands at 58.2kg!

This means I have achieved my current goal!

But it doesn't mean I'm just going to stop my efforts. I will continue to eat healthily and, once all this mass cosplay preparation is over, I'm going back to 30mins exercising every evening too. I'm really determined to keep to this healthier lifestyle, and not put the weight back on.

I know 2kg isn't a lot, but I'm really proud of myself regardless! ^_^




Oh, and everyone should check this out, cos it makes me giggle.
