This is a bit more interesting.

155mm artillary shell being shot trom a tank, travelling at a top speed of 850 feet per second.

Strong and fast enough to destroy an enemy tank!

I've just cut this together now from raw footage. This was taken at 40,000 frames per second. Note how in the last two shots you can actually see the AIR moving around the shell.

I didn't even know you could capture the movement of air like that. How long have you been working with photography?

We were working with the military of defence at the time. This is taken from quite some distance with a very high definition zoom lens.

I love the air-effect on the last two frames. I expect to see more from you. =)
You should come up to Norway to my military air base and do some filming. ;D

We do a lot of filming at military bases in the UK... but there's very limited footage I'm allowed to reveal to the public of the stuff we film there. A lot of it is considered confidential and whatnot.

I understand what you mean. However, if you do only film the object and got a decent background, like a hill or forest or rocks or something, it shouldn't really be a problem with the grading of information. Though, you should leave the base name out.
With something like that in the background, there is no way anyone ('cept for the military personell) would recognize the place, thus not revealing any limited, confidential, secret nor top secret places, buildings or hardware.

Regarding how hardware works, anyone can find that out, so that's kind of a common knowledge.

I don't know about over there, but over here, it isn't all that strict as long as it doesn't reveal anything special.

But in all, I understand what you mean. =)
