This newspaper is dated November of 1996, I believe. I can't zoom in close enough to check, but I seem to remember it was Nov 96. There were loads of newspapers and magazines left scattered around the place. Some of them featured our lady, the Princess Diana.

I will not reveal how to enter this building, nor any other. Urban exploration is a dangerous hobby. Unsafe flooring, collapsing ceilings, asbestos, needles and decay are all present in these environments. Please exercise extreme caution if you choose to go urban exploring yourself.

I like it, but abandoned hospitals creep me out, maybe its because I live where in Goiânia where the cesium accident happened.

Wow...it surprising a) how well preserved it is considering it's 13 years old, and b) how it looks (like I said before) just left there.

That's.... incredible.
It really does have the feel of a place completely frozen in time. And the paper is so well perserved for being (basically) out in the elements this whole time.

I can't get over how FUN this looks
How fantastically thrilling it must be to be able to see somewhere that really just seemed STOPPED in it's tracks, no warning. The fact that newspapers are still hanging about really interested me.
You said in another comment that all the asylums were being closed down...but I just don't get why they left everything where it was, like they didn't clear it out or anything.
Do you know why? Was it like a sudden movement to close it down?

It was preplanned. Since the Thatcher government, most/all of these isolated mental hospitals started to close down.
