An abandoned suitcase.
Jenn finds suitcases abandoned like this scary. I suggested the reason may be that "people come to a place with a suitcase of their belongings, and usually leave with the same suitcase. If the suitcase is still here, there's a chance they didn't leave".

Scary thought!

So I really enjoy all the photos you took of the Asylum but I realize, in looking at these, that there is something really wrong with my brain. All I can think of is, "God.. what cosplays would look best in this location?" shortly followed by "Taps should investigate this place. I bet it's haunted."

*sigh* The life of a nerd. Anyway, thank you for posting these, I enjoy them a lot and it's an interesting deviation from your cosplay works.

Thats a good assumption, actually. Its quite possible they didnt leave..for whatever reason. But if you want to make Jenn feel better, you can suggest that perhaps they got a new suitcase before leaving because it was broken or something? Or they couldnt find it.

There are plenty of reasons why they may have left it, but your reasoning is definitely freaky.

The best thing about places like this are the random things people left behind, because they're so personal and really make it feel gloomy and abandoned. This is a nice shot of a great object.
