Mystique - X-Men First Class by KellyJane Mystique - X-Men First Class by KellyJane
Taken by my wonderful `tealpirate. No photo editing done :)

Sooooooooo, this may be my favourite costume to date 8D I've ALWAYS wanted to cosplay Mystique, but her comic book form is quite commonly seen (and done REALLY well) and the first set of movies.... Well, it's not quite suited to my body type XD So when XFC came along, I knew I *had* to do it some day :)

Face prosthetic made by me.
Wig fully re-wefted by me.
Body painting by me (with a bit of help on my ears from Jenn).
Costume commissioned.

The face prosthetic is a latex appliance I made from scratch. The bodypaint I used was Ben Nye Magicake.

Taken at EMS 2012

I'll also be wearing this on Saturday to October MCM Expo .

That's beautiful looking!

What did you make the prosthetic out of? And by that, I mean do you have a particular brand to recommend?

It's primarily made of latex, purchased from Cosworx.

The make-up is really really good.
It's a pity that you live in the UK. :(
