To answer a few questions:
Hair - The dreadlocks are attached to my real hair, but are removable. They are not permanently attached. I'd love for them to be, but with a full-time job, that just wouldn't be practical!

Eyes - They are contact lenses, but I have brightened the colour on them a bit.

Editing - I am FAR from good at editing. I only know the basics, at best. This was done in Photoshop Elements. I used the desaturation tool on the whole picture, apart from the hair, eyes, and more lightly on the lips and arm bands. I then saturated the areas I wanted brighter. I've never learned how to edited properly or more complicatedly, but sometimes wish I had XD
