I totally agree, I've had my own little run in of asshats who trash me for my yaoi content.
But hell, what ever! It's what I like, it's what I'll draw! If I see something I don't like of theirs, I'll move on, I wont go out of my way to trash them just to attempt to make myself feel better.

People are entitled to their own opinions, so those who flame yaoi(and anything really) should just not say anything. They can keep their opinions to themselves and just hate it quietly. I, for one, think yaoi is very cute and I it annoys me when people I know(mostly guys) always diss it and make fun of it and stuff. And if two boys happen to be showing affection in public, I commend them greatly, they have the courage to affection to their partner and don't care about what other people think. And to those who try to put them down, well screw them.

People who flame yaoi, and most specifically yaoi cosplayers, are in my eyes guilty of supporting homophobia, and I have no tolerance for that. I agree that people should be entitled to their opinion, but instead of writing "URGH YOU DISGUSTING GAYS!" why can't people be mature and write "Well, I don't really like yaoi, but in regards to the cosplay it's good, and the photo has been well taken." ?

Basically, I agree with you ^_^

I agree, I haven't suffered one homophobic comment on my yaoi or yuri artwork, but I would get really pissed off if someone actually posted one on my deviations. I mean, it's the same as going around bitching about het to everyone. I mean, if we look beyond the obivious difference between het and yaoi or yuri relationships (being genders), what else is different in general? There's always two human beings in love.
