Well, here they are. Looking at them today, I guess they aren't TOO bad. I still have a lot of work to do on them but they're doing okay. I put them on my stairs so you can get an idea of their size.

Not bad for a first attempt.

Materials used: Styrofoam, papier mache, cocktail sticks, masking tape, electrical tape, enamel paint

Oh my, these are quite amazing.
I'm attempting to cosplay Axel soon
(as soon as I let my Military!Edward Elric out for a while
so my parents don't get angry about me "doing that cosplay thing again" too soon).
I would absolutely die to be able to make something like these.
Unfortunately, I'm not particularly good at handy crafts.
You, though, seem to have a talent for making dangerous looking items from styrofoam and paper mache...

Hehe yeah. I tried to make them so scale by seeing, when Axel holds them by the black handles, how far up his arms the spikes went. They came to around the crook of his arm, so I made mine to that size ^_^ I see too many chakrams that are just way too small and wanted mine to be well referenced XD
